How to Sign Up for a Pay Per Month Website (2026) - Pay Per Month Websites

When you sign up with Pay Per Month Websites, you go through 5 stages over 3 to 4 weeks: a 20-minute discovery call, a design brief and content gathering, a private staging-link build, your revisions and approval, and a same-day launch with SSL, analytics, and indexing set up. Your first payment is the monthly fee from $99, with no upfront design charge, no setup fee, and a 30-day cancellation policy from day one.

This is exactly what happens, step by step, from the moment you sign up to your site going live.

Stage 1: The Discovery Call (Days 1 to 3)

The first step is a 20 to 30 minute discovery call, either video or phone. This is not a sales call. By the time you book it, you have already chosen to sign up. The call exists to understand:

  • What your business does and who you serve
  • What you want the website to do (inquiries, bookings, sales, information)
  • Who your typical customer is and what they care about
  • Which competitors you like the look of, and which you do not
  • What pages and content you need (5 pages? 10 pages? a blog? e-commerce?)
  • Any specific features (booking system, gallery, testimonials carousel)

You leave the call with a clear next-steps email summarising what was agreed, what content you need to send over, and the expected build timeline. Nothing is built until this is signed off.

Stage 2: Content and Design Brief (Days 3 to 7)

The build cannot start until two things are ready: your content and the design direction.

Content you provide:

  • Your logo (or a confirmation we are designing one)
  • Any existing copy you want to keep
  • Photos of your team, your premises, and your work
  • Any reviews or testimonials you want featured
  • Service descriptions, pricing if relevant, opening hours

If you do not have copy, do not worry. Bullet-point notes are fine. We will draft the page text from them. If you do not have professional photos, we will use respectful stock images for placeholders and you can swap them later.

Design direction: You will get a short design brief asking about preferred colours, fonts, mood (professional, friendly, modern, traditional), and 2 to 3 reference sites you like. This takes 10 minutes to fill in.

Stage 3: The Private Staging Build (Days 7 to 18)

The site gets built on a private staging URL that only you and the design team can see. Nothing is live on the public internet during this stage. Your existing site (if you have one) stays exactly as it is.

You typically get a first preview of the homepage by day 10, then the rest of the pages over the following week. You can comment on anything in real time: copy that needs tweaking, colours that feel off, images you want changed.

What gets built in this stage:

  • Full custom design tailored to your brand
  • All pages agreed in the discovery call
  • Mobile-responsive layout (we test on phone, tablet, and desktop)
  • Contact forms wired up to your email
  • SSL certificate provisioned
  • Basic on-page SEO (titles, descriptions, image alt text)
  • Google Analytics setup
  • Sitemap and Google Search Console connection

Stage 4: Your Revisions and Approval (Days 18 to 25)

Once the site is built, you get the staging link and a structured review period. Take your time. Walk through every page. Check it on your own phone. Show it to your business partner, your spouse, your most trusted customer if you want.

You can request as many reasonable revisions as you need within the build window: copy changes, color tweaks, layout adjustments, image swaps. The goal is for you to be genuinely happy with the site before launch, not just “good enough”.

Approval is yours alone. We will never push the site live without your explicit go-ahead.

Stage 5: Launch Day (Day 25 to 28)

Once you approve, launch happens within 1 to 2 working days. What we do on launch day:

  • Point your domain to the new site
  • Activate SSL on the live URL
  • Submit the new sitemap to Google Search Console
  • Set up redirects from any old URLs (if you had a previous site)
  • Final QA on the live site: forms working, phone numbers clickable, all pages loading
  • Send you a launch confirmation email with key links: admin login, analytics access, support details

Within 24 hours of launch, Google starts indexing your new site. Most pages appear in search within 3 to 7 days.

What Happens After Launch

Day 1 is not the end. Your monthly plan covers ongoing care for as long as you stay on it:

  • Managed hosting on servers, with uptime monitoring
  • Daily automatic backups
  • Security monitoring and software updates
  • 2 to 5 content edits per month, depending on your plan
  • our support via email or phone during working hours
  • Annual design refresh available if you want one

If you need anything outside the plan (a new feature, a major redesign, copywriting), you will be quoted in writing before any extra work starts. Nothing is done without your sign-off.

The 30-Day Cancellation Policy

From the moment you sign up, you can cancel with 30 days notice for any reason. No exit fees, no penalties, no questions. Your domain stays yours, your content stays yours, your brand assets stay yours. We will help with the domain transfer if you want to go elsewhere.

This applies in month 1, month 12, or month 60. There is no minimum term and no contract renewal trick.

What You Pay and When

  • Setup fee: $0. There is no upfront design charge.
  • First payment: Your first monthly fee (from $99) is taken when you sign up. This kicks off the build.
  • Ongoing: Your monthly fee continues on the same day each month, via direct debit or card.
  • Cancellation: 30 days notice, no exit fee.

Common Worries Answered

What if I do not like the design?

The staging-link stage exists precisely for this. You see the design before anything goes live, and you have full revisions until you are happy. If after reasonable revisions you genuinely cannot get on with the direction, we will rework it. The site does not launch until you sign it off.

What if my business changes after launch?

Small content changes are included in your plan. Bigger changes (new pages, new services, a refreshed look) are quoted separately and discussed before any work starts. The site grows with your business.

What if I do not have any photos or content?

You are not the first. We use respectful stock placeholders, draft text from your bullet points, and arrange a phone shoot if you want real photos. The build does not stall because you do not have a full portfolio ready.

How fast can I actually go live if I am in a hurry?

The fastest realistic timeline is 10 to 14 days if you have your content and photos ready, and you respond to revisions same-day. Most builds are 3 to 4 weeks because that is a realistic pace for proper design and proper review. Anyone promising 48 hours is using a template.
